IL PADRONE SONO ME...
Synopsis
At the beginning of the 1900s, three young friends grow up and pass their holidays together, Robertino, his American cousin Dolly and Giovannino, a farmer’s son. The years pass and although Dolly is fond of Robertino she plans to marry another, but seeing her cousin’s desperation, promises not to. On her return to America, she forgets her promise and it is not until Robertino is called up on the outset of world war one, that she realizes her true feelings, to no avail as Robertino is killed in combat.
A human and social cycle closes and another one begins, in which the same painful and hopeful experiences are repeated, common to the life of all men.
