Synopsis

Following the adventures of For Love and Gold (1966), our medieval hero, Brancaleone Da Norcia, forms a new army and sets out to return the baby to his father: a prince fighting in the Crusades. He is joined by a team of wackos and on the way he meets even crazier weirdos: a treacherous German crusader, a princess disguised as a leper, a beautiful witch, and a king who speaks only in rhyme. On reaching Palestine, Brancaleone obtains the title of baron from the child’s father. He is therefore chosen as a champion in a tournament to solve the dispute between the Christians and the Saracens in the siege of Jerusalem.
