Synopsis
In operatic circles in the 1700s, castrated singers were very much in vogue. The film tells the story of Meo, who decides to become a castrated singer in order to escape his miserable conditions. In realty though, the youngster is able to undertake his chosen career availing of his singing talents alone without having to make the ultimate sacrifice. But the secret is too great to remain as such and Meo finds himself in trouble.
