Synopsis
Cesare Mori, a rigid man with an iron will is sent to Sicily as prefect. But his appointment is to become a personal crusade against the Mafia, trying to install confidence in the people with regards to the State’s ability to tackle this problem. After having made serious inroads into the Mafia’s hold over the area, he is recalled to Rome only having completed his task by half.
