Synopsis

Naples, 1956. In a camp for homeless people on the outskirts of Naples, young Vittorio divides his time between the squalid reality of his surroundings and his dream of a better life in America. His heaven is the movie theatre. Here believes he has become friends with the movie star of his dreams, but she is only the gentle wife of an American NATO’s general.
